Stop beta blockers and calcium channel blockers for 7 days prior or as advise by doctor. Lugol's iodine solution to be started 3 days prior to injection & after 3 days of injection. Prior appointment mandatory. Rule out pregnancy.. If pregnant, confirm necessity of test and use precautions.
